The mission of Parent-Teacher Associations is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Alice M. Alexander Elementary shares in this mission by partnering with the Texas PTA.
There are three main ways that PTAs support our schools:
We advocate for our children by coordinating with teachers, administrators, and staff to help provide programs and resources that are needed.
We provide our time and energy to the school by volunteering and organizing programs.
We fundraise for these programs that benefit all children at school.
Field Trips
Student Programs
Teacher Appreciation
Winter Festival
Field Day
STEM Night
AND SO MUCH MORE!!
Everyone-parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities-is invited to join!
The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school.
